Professional Experience: 

Jenny earned her B.A. in Rhetoric and Communication from St. Edward’s University here in Austin, TX, and her law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. During law school, Jenny excelled in legal writing and oral argument, winning numerous competitions and awards for her school’s Moot Court team. In her second year of law school, Jenny clerked for the Animal Legal Defense Fund where she assisted in prosecuting numerous cases involving animal cruelty and neglect. In addition, during her final year of law school Jenny had the unique opportunity to participate in the “Street Law” program, where she taught a Criminal Law & Procedure class for local high school students. The class primarily focused on Fourth Amendment search and seizure issues, and topics relevant to juveniles in the criminal justice system.

After law school Jenny moved back to Austin and spent a brief time practicing civil law at a firm that handles Plaintiffs’ medical malpractice and personal injury claims. Ultimately, Jenny decided to pursue her passion for criminal law, and she is now an Associate with Stephen T. Bowling & Associates: DWI & Criminal Defense Attorneys.
