Stephen T. Bowling
Founder & CEO
Stephen founded the firm after a career on the other side of an arrest. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1997 to 2007, including five years aboard the USS Stout (DDG 55), then trained at the Navy's Military Police School and worked as a patrolman and Field Training Officer at Naval Station Ingleside. He later served as a police officer before becoming a defense attorney. He is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and has represented thousands of criminal defense clients in Central Texas.
Rafael Zapata-Yordán
Managing Partner
Rafael has litigated in state and federal courts for more than twenty-one years. He began in Puerto Rico, then worked as an Assistant Public Defender in the Webb County Public Defender's Office in Laredo before moving to Austin. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of Texas and the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Southern Districts of Texas, among other courts, and he speaks Spanish with clients.
Hayden Boudreaux
Senior Attorney
Before moving to defense work, Hayden prosecuted cases in the Hays County and Travis County district attorney's offices. He now handles DWI, drug and assault or family-violence cases in Travis and Hays counties.
Peter Luning Prak
Senior Attorney
Peter earned an engineering degree at Columbia University and a law degree at NYU School of Law, where he served as an editor of the NYU Tax Law Review. He is licensed in more than one state, and in DWI cases he reviews breath- and blood-test records, calibration logs and other technical evidence. Colleagues call him the human computer.

Erica handles day-to-day client communication and scheduling between clients and their attorneys.

Karina answers the phones and greets visitors, and is often a client's first contact with the firm.
