Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 30, 2026

Stephen T Bowling, DWI & Criminal Defense Attorneys (“the firm”) respects your privacy. This policy describes what we collect on this website and how it is used.

What we collect

  • Contact and intake information you provide through forms, phone calls, or our chat assistant — such as your name, phone number, email, county, and a description of your legal matter.
  • Website chat conversations. Our chat assistant is powered by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic). Chat messages are processed by that provider to generate responses and are saved by the firm. If you request a consultation, your chat transcript is added to your file with the firm.
  • Call and website analytics. We use call tracking (CallRail) and advertising analytics (Google) to understand how clients find us. These tools collect standard technical data such as caller phone numbers, IP addresses, and pages visited.

Text messages

If you agree to receive text messages, we send case-related updates such as court reminders and scheduling from our office numbers. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your information.
  • We do not share your information with data brokers.
  • Chatting with our website assistant does not create an attorney-client relationship, and our assistant does not provide legal advice.

Data security and retention

Information you provide is stored in our case-management systems and protected with industry-standard encryption. Information connected to a legal matter is retained per our professional and legal obligations.
